Through stark, intimate storytelling and an uncompromising musical language, Two Remain places audiences face to face with voices that refuse to be forgotten. Directed by Eyal Stopnicki, this production serves as both an act of remembrance and a vital response to the growing urgency of Holocaust education today.
SYNOPSIS IN 30 SECONDS
Two Remain tells the story of two Holocaust survivors, Krystyna Żywulska and Gad Beck, through their own words. Drawn directly from survivor testimonies, the opera forces memory into the present as they relive their traumatic past, bringing audiences into the reality of their lives during the war and the lasting weight of survival.
