Refund & Ticket Policy

The following policy applies to all tickets purchased directly through Jewish Voices in Music (“JVM”).

Non-Refundable Tickets

All tickets purchased through Jewish Voices in Music are non-refundable.

This non-refundable policy applies only to tickets purchased directly through JVM. Tickets purchased through third-party platforms or vendors are subject to the refund and exchange policies of those providers. Jewish Voices in Music has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, third-party ticketing policies.

Event Rescheduling

In the event that a performance is rescheduled, ticket purchasers will be given the opportunity to select from one of the newly scheduled dates. Tickets will be reissued for the selected date at no additional cost to the purchaser.

Extraordinary Circumstances

Refunds may be considered only under extraordinary circumstances, at the sole discretion of Jewish Voices in Music.

To request consideration for a refund under extraordinary circumstances, purchasers must contact
tickets@jewishvoicesinmusic.com no later than seven (7) business days prior to the scheduled event date.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original form of payment used at purchase. Please allow seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days for the refund to appear on your bank statement.

Ticket Transfers

Tickets purchased through JVM are transferable, subject to approval by Jewish Voices in Music.

To request a ticket transfer, the original purchaser must contact tickets@jewishvoicesinmusic.com no later than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled event and provide the following information:

Full name of the individual receiving the ticket
Contact email address
Phone number
Original ticket confirmation number

For security reasons, requests to transfer tickets made within 48 hours of the event may be declined.

Jewish Voices in Music reserves the right to approve or deny any ticket transfer request at its sole discretion.

There is no fee for ticket transfers. In the event of a ticket transfer, Jewish Voices in Music has no obligation to refund any amount to the original ticket purchaser.

Force Majeure

Jewish Voices in Music shall not be held responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, public health emergencies, government restrictions, venue-related issues, labor disputes, or other unforeseen events (“Force Majeure”).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website or purchasing tickets, merchandise, or services from Jewish Voices in Music, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all applicable Canadian laws and regulations.

If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

2. Ticket Sales

2.1 Final Sale Policy

All ticket purchases made directly through Jewish Voices in Music are non-refundable, except as outlined below.

Tickets purchased through third-party platforms (e.g., TO Live, Ticketmaster, or other box office providers) are subject to the refund and exchange policies of those providers. JVM has no control over third-party refund policies.

2.2 Event Changes

In the event of rescheduling, ticket holders will be given the option to transfer their ticket to a new performance date at no additional cost.

If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, ticket holders will be notified regarding refund procedures.

2.3 Extraordinary Circumstances

Refund requests due to extraordinary circumstances must be submitted in writing to:

no later than seven (7) business days prior to the event. Approval is at the sole discretion of JVM.

2.4 Age & Content Advisory

Certain productions may contain mature themes. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to review event descriptions and age recommendations prior to purchase.

3. Merchandise Sales

3.1 Order Fulfillment

Merchandise sold through our website may be fulfilled and shipped by third-party production and fulfillment partners. Orders are processed upon confirmation of payment.

Shipping times are estimates and may vary.

3.2 Returns & Exchanges

Due to the custom and/or print-on-demand nature of many products, merchandise sales are generally final sale unless:

The item arrives damaged
The item is defective
The wrong item was shipped

3.3 Sizing Disclaimer

Customers are responsible for reviewing size charts prior to purchase. JVM is not responsible for incorrect sizing selections.

Shipping timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Jewish Voices in Music is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Risk of loss transfers to the purchaser upon shipment confirmation.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jewish Voices in Music shall not be liable for:

Delays in shipping or fulfillment
Errors made by third-party service providers
Losses arising from event cancellations beyond our control

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product or ticket in question.

7. Force Majeure

Jewish Voices in Music shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Acts of God
Government restrictions
Public health emergencies
Venue closures
Strikes
Natural disasters
War or civil unrest

8. Donations

All donations made through this website are voluntary and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

Tax receipts cannot be issued, as Jewish Voices in Music is not yet a registered charity with the CRA.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
