We here at Jewish Voices in Music are working with three amazing charities that all do such amazing work in the fight against antisemitism and supporting victims of terror. The money raised through this event will be split between our three charitable partners. Below you can learn more about each of the charities and even make a donation directly to the charity of your choosing.
Allied Voices for Israel (AVI) unites students of all backgrounds against anti-Jewish hatred. AVI offers a multi-faceted approach to Israel advocacy and education by empowering a new and diverse cohort of Israel advocates at high school and university campuses across Canada.
Through allyship programs to Israel, educational workshops, media fellowships, and other advocacy programs, AVI is inspiring a new generation of students to change the narrative around Israel. By embracing our peers, we will establish a movement of students working together to achieve strength in numbers and create a more just society.
End Jew Hatred seeks to empower and liberate Jews from centuries of persecution and discrimination. We demand a world in which Jew hatred is acknowledged to be detestable and unacceptable, just as hatred or violence against any other group: blacks, LGBTQ+ or women. We are a non-partisan civil rights movement focused solely on justice for the Jewish people.
For centuries, discrimination and oppression against women and minority groups was tolerated as an unavoidable part of life. Thanks to the tireless efforts of civil rights activists, this is no longer the case. An international conversation and change is taking place to free women and minorities from the bigotry and bad behavior which has held them back for so long. We need the same conversation about the eradication of Jew hatred now!
