About the event
Healing Through Storytelling is a powerful day of film, conversation, and community dedicated to exploring the journey from trauma to healing. Brought to you by DocuNation and JVM, this day will bring together filmmakers, survivors, mental health professionals, educators, and community leaders; the event will examine how storytelling can help us process difficult experiences, foster resilience, and inspire hope.
Through compelling film screenings, keynote presentations, panel discussions, and interactive workshops, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with diverse perspectives on healing, connection, and recovery. The day will also offer meaningful opportunities for remembrance and reflection while highlighting the strength of individuals and communities moving forward.
